Inspection and return
Seven days from delivery. A stone returned unmounted, untampered, with all seals and documentation intact, is refunded in full — no restocking fee. Return shipping is at the buyer’s cost, insured, by the same carrier.
Title and risk
Title passes on cleared funds. Risk in transit sits with the insured carriage arranged for the shipment; risk during the seven-day inspection window sits with the buyer, which is why the stone must be returned in the condition it arrived.
Deposits
A deposit may hold a stone while buyer-selected certification runs. If the report contradicts what this site published, the deposit is refunded in full.
Duties and taxes
Import duties and taxes in the buyer’s country are the buyer’s responsibility. Loose gemstones enter the United States duty-free; buyers in the European Union should expect import VAT at their national rate.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Sri Lanka. Disputes are addressed first by direct discussion, and failing that through the courts of Colombo.
